Pompilio Passes Away

I was checking out the news looking to see the latest on Team Diego and saw that Boca Juniors president Pedro Pompilio passed away this morning from a heart attack. He was 55 years old. The team canceled practice today and no word on what affect it will have on the weekend.

The internet is burning up with news of Diego’s new gig. A large majority are opposed to it, even in the country where he is everyone’s favorite son.
A lot of the reasoning has to do with his less than stellar managerial record – two teams, three total wins back in ‘93-’94ish.
