Baldassi on short list for 2010

Hector Baldassi has been named to the short list of 38 referees in the running for South Africa. He is the only Argentine on the list. The list will be pared down again to the final number in the coming months.

His name has been linked heavily with the opening for the Selection and he seems to be one of the favorites. His managerial career has included multiple stops in Argentina, as well as Chile, Spain, and Mexico.
