Huracán Coach Uses Blog to Keep in Touch with Fans
By: Jeremy | October 5th, 2009If you are a Spanish speaking fan of el Globo, or just a fan of Argentine football in general, make sure to check out El Toque de Cappa, which is the blog of Ángel Cappa, the straight speaking coach of Huracán who recently discovered blogging, thanks to his daughter. (And how did he choose to start his blogging career – with Blogger. That makes two Google related posts in a row. Weird.)
Five posts in and he is getting a large following. Something like 900 followers on Blogger and hundred of comments on each post with thousands of hits a day.
In one post he talks about his future. In another he blames Huracán losing the title last season on the officiating in the final game of the season. He speaks of the fans of el globo often. It’s definitely a good read.
He seems to post once a week, after each game.
I’m starting to look around for other coaches with blogs, but it isn’t too easy. If you have found one, leave it in the comments.

I had been hipped to Cappa’s blog recently and his intelligent and well-reasoned perspective is definitely a welcome relief in this world where ignorance is generally king. Nice work on spreading the word here.
