Hurucan - San Lorenzo, the Clasico continues
By: Jeremy | December 1st, 2008The “clasico de Boedo” was suspended due to heavy rainfall shortly after it started, with Huracan winning 1 -0 but being a man down.
OK I was going to post a picture of the rain out here but I can’t get the friggin’ thing to upload, so nothing.
According to AFA, the match will be replayed tomorrow night at 17:10 in La Bombonera. I guess maybe the rain has made Huracan’s field too messy? Tickets won’t be sold, but I am unclear as to whether people who bought tickets to the match can use them to get in here.
This is a big match, with San Lorenzo sitting on 30 points and needing the victory to keep pace with Boca. A loss and they are out of the title hunt.
