Pompilio Passes Away
By: Jeremy | October 30th, 2008I was checking out the news looking to see the latest on Team Diego and saw that Boca Juniors president Pedro Pompilio passed away this morning from a heart attack. He was 55 years old. The team canceled practice today and no word on what affect it will have on the weekend.
He’d only been president for less than two years, after Macri left, and was the force behind bringing Riquelme back from Villareal.
