Rosario Central beat up Gimnasia de Jujuy and River Plate drew with Newell’s Old Boys, leaving River in the very unfamiliar spot of being all alone at the bottom of the table.
Colon gets the golazo award for the 12th round, beating hapless Argentinos Juniors 5-2. No games ended up with the 0-0.
Jose Sand continues to lead the Apertura with 12 goals, despite not scoring in Lanus’ 1-0 loss to Estudiantes. Martin Morel is second, with 9 goals.
